Schoonderwoerd Vlees has been around since 1945 and is therefore a company with extensive knowledge and experience. From its founding, the company started producing high-quality meat products, after which it also started importing frozen lamb and mutton from New Zealand. In 1985 we therefore started directly importing Fresh New Zealand Lamb and Beef via both Boat Freight and Air Freight. Lamb, Mutton and Venison have been our specialty for quite some time, but beyond that we also sell fresh and frozen quality Beef from New Zealand & Australia.

Our slogan therefore applies; Specialist in New Zealand Lamb, Mutton, Beef, Venison and Australian Grainfed Beef.

Since January 1, 2010, Schoonderwoerd has been taken over by the 3rd generation Schoonderwoerd. After father Toine Schoonderwoerd ran the business from 1986, the business was taken over in 2010 by his two sons Nimrod & Nigel Schoonderwoerd. With this, Schoonderwoerd shows that it is a real family business and that it is strong in international trade with all the experience gained over the past decades from different generations. After a new facility was built in 2012 by the 3rd generation, it was expanded again in 2023 and adapted to the latest guidelines aimed at the future.
