About Schoonderwoerd
We have always worked well from our first premises in De Bilt to 2012, from which everything started, Schoonderwoerd Meat since January 1, 2012 located at a new location. Here, we work from a completely new building that meets the latest requirements and is equipped with the latest technology to our service level even higher and the customer better than good to supply. From this location, we have all stock for both fresh and frozen products under one roof, enabling us to serve the customer very quickly through our own transport within the Benelux or, if necessary, through external transport throughout Europe.
We work exclusively with direct imports from suppliers based in New Zealand & Australia. Our suppliers are companies that have years of expertise and are well known in the market. We have been working with them for 40 years, which has enabled us to build up a good relationship.
Because of their many years of expertise, they know what is going on in the market and can therefore respond to the wishes and needs of consumers in Europe. We regularly visit our suppliers abroad as well as the slaughterhouses to discuss production. In this way, we can maintain good contacts and relationships, and we can monitor the processes, directly checking the quality of the processes. Also, the suppliers visit us regularly. By keeping in touch with the suppliers in this way, we can make sure that everything runs as desired. By having a lot of contact with suppliers, we are also aware of market developments from other continents and in this way we can also respond to any market changes in Europe. Therefore, as of 2023, our location has been expanded to continue the growth.
