- Founded in 1945, Schoonderwoerd Vlees has been dedicated to producing top-notch meat products, and later expanded its offerings with the import of frozen lamb and mutton from the pristine lands of New Zealand. In 1985, we took a step further, initiating the direct import of fresh New Zealand lamb by both sea and air. Our expertise in handling lamb and mutton has been honed over the years, while also catering to our customers with a wide range of fresh and frozen beef and venison options.
- On January 1st 2010, Schoonderwoerd Vlees was taken over by the 3rd generation of the family, when Toine Schoonderwoerd was succeeded by his two sons, Nimrod and Nigel Schoonderwoerd. This transition solidified Schoonderwoerd Vlees as a genuine family enterprise, strengthened by its expertise in international trade, accrued across different generations over the past few decades.
